Plant Fossils in Spring Branch, TX

While fossil hunting in the Austin area, we came across these beautiful spheres that are Algae flora from the Glen Rose Formation in Spring Branch, Comal Co., TX.   

Kingdom: Plantae, Phylum: Chlorophyta, Class: Dasucladophyceae, Order: Dasycladales, Family: Incertae sedis, Genus:Porocystis, Species: Porocystis globularis
